harvest!

Summer flew past, it has been an eventful season! I wish I had more time to go into details.

the bottom line is we pulled many a weed, avoided pesticides and fertilizers (besides our compost and organic manure ) and our veggies grew .. fairly good harvest and very tastey. We have harvested most of our bounty now, only the potatoes left to go.

[side note - If someone would have told this farm raised girl she would ever PURCHASE animal poop... she would have laughed and told you how insane that is.]

So to catch up on some of the news.... Mykel retired, I am in university, Amber and Amanda are back in post secondary, Danae is in grade 12, Tijana started grade 10 and the little ones are turning 2 and 4 ... WOW!
